Basic Bead Stringing is the best place to start if you are new to beading.  This class covers the simple techniques required to fashion a necklace or bracelet from your favorite beads.  You’ll learn some simple design tips, too, and you can expect to leave class wearing your creations!
What you’ll need:  chain nose pliers, wire cutter, crimping tool (optional), clasp set, crimps, flexible beading wire, and the beads of your choice.
Class Fee: $25      2 Hr Session

Basic Knotting Techniques: You’ll learn two necklace styles, both using the same easy knotting technique.  First, we’ll knot silk cord between each bead, the same way valuable pearls are strung.  Second, we’ll design a fun and casual “Tin Cup” necklace.  Please note that you may not leave the class with a completed project, but you’ll assuredly have the know-how to finish your project at home. 
What you’ll need:  needle nose tweezers, 2 bead tips, a clasp set, Griffin silk cord, and the beads of your choice.
Class Fee: $25    2 Hr Session

The Tin Cup necklace: is one of the techniques taught in the Basic Knotting class. It involves stationing a series of beads onto colorful silk thread.  Between the stationed beads, we leave the silk thread exposed – sort of like an illusion necklace, only you will see the thread.  See samples of this technique at Roma Creations.  You do not need to take this class if you have already taken Basic Knotting.
